The IsDB Group is seeking a highly experienced Economic Policy Specialist to join our Country Programs Complex. This role requires a strong background in economic policy analysis, strategic planning, and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to member countries, conducting policy dialogue, and supporting the implementation of the IsDB's Country Engagement Framework (CEF).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to member countries on economic policy issues.
- Conduct policy dialogue with governments, multilateral institutions, and NGOs.
- Support implementation of the CEF and MCPS through strategic planning and project management.
- Collaborate with regional hubs and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and delivery of results.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Economics, International Development, or related field.
- Minimum 8/6 years of experience as an Economist in the development sector.
- Advanced analytical thinking skills, proficiency in R, Python, Stata, or similar statistical tools.
