We are seeking a highly skilled X-Ray Imaging Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in producing high-quality radiographic images and providing exceptional patient care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review exam requests and prepare necessary equipment and materials.
- Identify patients accurately and communicate effectively with them throughout the examination process.
- Position patients correctly and adjust immobilizing and shielding devices as needed to ensure precise imaging.
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images and select optimal settings for each projection.
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after the procedure to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Evaluate test results for accuracy and completeness, documenting all studies performed.
- Conduct routine quality control checks on x-ray equipment and inform supervisors of any issues or malfunctions.
- Ensure that all equipment and examination areas are clean, organized, and ready for the next patient.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement training programs for new staff members.
