Job Overview

Responsibilities
  1. Inspection and Testing
  2. Conduct UT, RT, MT, PT, and Hardness Tests on welds and materials.
  3. Review and approve welding procedures and equipment.
  4. Procedure Qualification
  5. Develop and implement procedure qualification tests for welding personnel.
  6. Welder Qualification
  7. Organize and conduct welder qualification tests as per ASME Section IX and client specifications.
  8. Inventory Management
  9. Control the inventory of welding consumables and documents.
  10. Visual Inspection
  11. Perform visual inspections of pipe fit-ups and weld joints.
  12. NDE Inspection
  13. Carry out non-destructive examination (NDE) inspections and pressure tests according to approved procedures and QC plans.
  14. Documentation
  15. Maintain accurate records of inspection and test results.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in welding inspection and quality control.
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and NDT techniques.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
