Job Description

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager for Engineering and Infrastructure will play a vital role in Assystem's growth strategy in Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Saudi Arabia Country Manager, this role will focus on enhancing our presence and securing strategic projects in the transportation sector. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Client and stakeholder management for ongoing projects.
  2. Identifying and assessing business opportunities in the Engineering and Transportation sector.
  3. Developing and executing strategic plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  4. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and clients.
  5. Leading the proposal development process, including bid preparation, negotiations, and contract finalization.
  6. Collaborating with internal teams to develop innovative solutions and service offerings tailored to client needs.
  7. Monitoring industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
  8. Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  9. Providing regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Requirements

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in business development within the engineering or transportation sector.
  3. A proven track record of success in identifying and pursuing business opportunities.
  4. Strong understanding of Saudi Arabia's transportation industry, market dynamics, and regulatory environment.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  8. Ability to travel within Saudi Arabia as needed.
  9. Being a Saudi citizen is a plus.
