Job Description
The Procurement Director will be responsible for leading the procurement function and ensuring that procurement activities are conducted in accordance with Mace's policies and procedures. This includes developing and implementing procurement strategies, conducting market research, creating procurement plans, and negotiating contracts with suppliers. The Procurement Director will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements. In addition, the Procurement Director will draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring they align with legal and project requirements. Monitoring contract performance and resolving any disputes or issues that arise during the contract execution are also key responsibilities of the Procurement Director.

Required Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field is required. At least 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a senior role within the construction or infrastructure industry, is also required. Proven experience in managing procurement for large-scale projects is essential. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills are required. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are also necessary. Proficient in procurement software and tools is essential. A strong understanding of market dynamics and industry standards is also required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role. Relevant certifications such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are also desirable.
