About the Role:

The Tender Coordinator will play a critical role in the preparation and submission of tender documents, as well as the development of technical and commercial proposals for our projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and prepare tender documents, including bid submissions and proposals;
  2. Assist in the development of technical and commercial proposals for our projects;
  3. Ensure compliance with KSA government tenders and procurement law;
  4. Manage electronic portals like Etimad or Ariba in KSA;
  5. Assist in preparing and evaluating a list of available bidding opportunities to decide which to join;
  6. Participate in reviewing and studying bid documents to verify the availability of sufficient information;
  7. Review BOQ, tender drawings, specifications, and special & general conditions in coordination with the contract administrator or legal advisor;
  8. Participate in preparing quantity takeoffs against available drawings;
  9. Coordinate in preparing initial design drawings (if any);
  10. Participate in preparing method statements for execution of BOQ items (if required);
  11. Coordinate with the planning and financial department in preparing initial time schedules and cash flow, considering any financial expenses;
  12. Coordinate with the procurement department to collect information about market prices for suppliers, subcontractors, and equipment based on previous executed projects and recent available information, aiming to get the best committed prices from suitable sources;
  13. Prepare the final proposal with special commercial and technical terms and clarifications;
  14. Contribute to any cost breakdown related to new scope and change or variation orders;
  15. Coordinate with the sales team in preparing company profiles and prequalifications to be submitted to new clients;
  16. Follow up with clients and developers during the bid evaluation stage;

Requirements:

  • A degree from an internationally recognized university in Civil or Architectural Engineering;
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience within consultancy engineering companies;
  • Experience in design consultancy services is a must;
  • Working with contractor experience is considered only for projects of design-build;
  • Fluency both verbally and written in Arabic (desired) and English;
