About the Role

SWATX is seeking a highly skilled Data Management Consultant to provide strategic guidance and hands-on support in all areas of data management, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Management Frameworks and Methodologies: Profound knowledge of data management frameworks, methodologies, and the standards and policies of the National Data Management Office (NDMO), along with their practical implementation.
  2. Guidance and Consultation: Provide guidance and consultation on implementing data management frameworks, methodologies, and policies in alignment with NDMO standards and requirements.
  3. Collaboration and Assessment: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess current data management practices and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Data Strategies and Solutions: Develop and implement tailored data strategies and solutions to address data governance and data privacy challenges.
  5. Privacy Principles and Policies: Strong understanding of privacy principles, policies, and laws governing personal data protection (PDPL).
  6. Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development of policies, procedures, and guidelines to support compliance with NDMO requirements and enhance data management capabilities.
  7. Technology Evaluation: Work closely with IT teams to evaluate and select data management tools and technologies.
  8. Data Classification: Expertise in data classification and overseeing the end-to-end implementation of data classification processes.
  9. Compliance Assessments: Ability to conduct compliance assessments and generate comprehensive reports.
  10. Workshops and Presentations: Extensive experience in conducting and organizing workshops and presentations.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar degree.
  2. Experience: 5+ years of experience in data management, data governance, and data privacy.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Arabic.
  4. Certifications: Preferable Certificates: Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).
