About the Role

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant to join our team. As a Data Governance Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of our clients' data assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Classification and Categorization: Develop and implement data classification and categorization frameworks to ensure accurate and consistent data management.
  • Data Governance Frameworks: Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to ensure effective data governance practices.
  • Communication and Training: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure that stakeholders understand data governance policies and procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to ensure efficient and effective data governance practices.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Data Governance: Proven experience in data governance, including data classification, categorization, and governance frameworks.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with data governance tools and technologies.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Data Governance Tools: Experience with data governance tools, including Collibra or other similar tools.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry, including data management and governance practices.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Arabic, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
