Business Objectives:

The Public Sector Marketing Manager MENAT is responsible for driving awareness, customer adoption, and demand generation for Amazon Web Services' (AWS) cloud computing solutions to the Public Sector in MENAT. This role involves developing integrated marketing programs and interfacing directly with EMEA and Global Organizations.

Key Performance Indicators:
  1. Develop and execute field marketing programs and activities that drive awareness, education, customer adoption, and pipeline acceleration.
  2. Apply integrated marketing campaign best practices to improve the customer experience across multiple channels and tactics.
  3. Inform regional planning process to ensure MENAT public sector target customers and priorities are top-of-mind in all regional marketing activities.
  4. Leverage global marketing resources to meet sales requirements and find ways to address sales needs without large budgets.
  5. Define targeting and customer segmentation for marketing campaign efforts across various channels and initiatives.
  6. Act as marketing contact with sales team and leaders, including regular participation in sales team calls, in-person meetings, and planning sessions.
  7. Inform country demand generation planning process with the Public Sector priorities to ensure greatest possible success of programs.
  8. Earn trust and maintain strong relationships with Pre-sales, Demand Generation, and Solution Architects teams to support their goals, working in conjunction with other marketing leaders and peers.
  9. Develop a deep understanding of the business and build the right marketing plans and programs in support of business and sales stakeholder objectives.
  10. Deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with field marketing stakeholders to ensure ongoing clarity on strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for campaigns.
  11. Provide detailed campaign updates via regular and ad hoc business reviews, highlighting key metrics and KPIs reflecting performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts, and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across various timezones and languages.
  • Fluency in Arabic (speaking, writing, and reading).
