Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for civil infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Technical Package Review: Review and analyze the project technical package to identify procurement requirements.
  2. Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management.
  3. Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  4. Contract Administration: Administer contracts, including payment processing, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  5. Inventory Management: Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize stockouts.
  6. Procurement Requests: Receive and process procurement requests from projects, including sourcing, quoting, and ordering materials and services.
  7. Quotation and Tendering: Obtain quotations from suppliers, evaluate tenders, and make recommendations for awarding contracts.
  8. Contract Award and Administration: Award contracts to suppliers, administer contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  9. Payment Processing: Process payments to suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  10. Procurement Reporting: Provide regular procurement reports to management, including spend analysis, vendor performance, and inventory levels.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
Language Requirements:

Arabic - Native / Mother Tongue
English - Good
