About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our security operations team, you will be responsible for managing contract guard forces, handling site security incidents, and providing after-hours on-call management support.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and manage contract guard forces to run daily data center operations, ensuring compliance with AWS policies and procedures.
- Handle site security incidents, escalations, or any other security-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Provide after-hours on-call management support and participate in emergent, large-scale event response when needed.
- Participate in recurring data center security audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Execute established compliance processes with AWS policies, standards, guidelines, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement security methodologies, policies, and procedures to ensure data center security and integrity.
- Write comprehensive reports and communicate with management on the status of physical security operations.
- Oversee new security construction or retrofit projects to ensure compliance with AWS standards.
- Manage the security budget for assigned sites, assist management with financial analysis, and contribute to financial decisions for security requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in physical security management. You should also have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in security.
- More than 4 years of experience in physical security management.
- Strong data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
- Membership in a security professional body.
- Security-specific qualifications and/or proof of continued personal development.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
