Business Development Director - MENA Region:
CARE is seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to drive our expansion efforts in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region. This key role will play a pivotal part in shaping our growth strategy, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence in the travel, hospitality, government, and tourism verticals.
This position demands a dynamic professional with a proven track record in business development, adept at navigating the complexities of the MENA market.
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled professional to develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to penetrate and expand CARE's presence in the MENA market.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new revenue streams and growth opportunities through agencies, channel partners, and direct client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Growth Strategy:
- - Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in the MENA region.
- - Identify new revenue streams and growth opportunities.
- - Collaborate with senior management to align regional goals with global business objectives.
Partnership Building:
- Establish Strong Relationships:
- - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including advertising agencies, channel partners, and industry leaders.
- - Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for partners, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- - Foster a deep understanding of partner needs and align them with CARE's offerings to maximize mutual success.
Vertical Expertise:
- Tailored Marketing Solutions:
- - Utilize expertise in the travel, hospitality, government, and tourism vertical to design and deliver tailored marketing solutions addressing client challenges.
- - Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging technologies to position CARE as a leader in the market.
- - Engage in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance CARE's visibility and reputation.
Collaborative Teamwork:
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and account management, to ensure successful campaign execution and initiative delivery.

Requirements:
- Experience and Qualifications:
- - At least 8 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles, with a focus on the MENA region.
- - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- - Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic/Mandarin or other regional languages highly advantageous.
- - Proven success in managing agencies and channel partnerships, preferably within the travel, hospitality, government, and tourism vertical.
- - Experience in programmatic advertising or digital marketing solutions essential.
- - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
