Job Summary

The National Medical Care Co. is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatrician to join our team as a Resident General Pediatrician. As a key member of our pediatric department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our pediatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring a high level of professional performance in accordance with medical ethics, hospital by-laws, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to establish accurate patient conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate with them to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining up-to-date medical records and progress notes.
  • Participate in daily ward rounds, conducting thorough assessments and developing care plans in collaboration with consultants and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement patient education programs, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and empowered to manage their health effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of our pediatric services, participating in quality improvement initiatives and suggesting innovative solutions to improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and develop effective communication strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Participate in educational training activities, staying up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric care.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited medical school, completion of required training in pediatrics, and registration with the Saudi Medical Council for Health Specialties.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in pediatrics, with a valid license to practice medicine in the area of specialty.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of computer applications and medical by-laws, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and procedures.
Competencies and Skills
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of medical by-laws and regulatory standards, with the ability to ensure compliance and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with consultants and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective treatment plans and implement quality improvement initiatives.
