About the Position

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and implementation of product development strategies that address emerging trends and unmet needs in the cardiovascular space. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Clinical Operations, and Regulatory Affairs, to ensure seamless integration and optimized resource allocation.

Additionally, you will be responsible for driving innovation through partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions that enhance our product portfolio and reinforce our position as a leader in the industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement product development strategies that address emerging trends and unmet needs in the cardiovascular space.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimized resource allocation.

  • Drive innovation through partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions that enhance our product portfolio and reinforce our position as a leader in the industry.

  • Identify and prioritize product development opportunities that align with our business objectives and goals.

  • Develop and execute clinical trials and studies to support product development and regulatory submissions.

  • Maintain a high level of disease, product, and indication knowledge, as well as competitor products.

  • Foster strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

  • Work with relevant stakeholders to develop a deep understanding of the Life Cycle Plan and deliver specific actions/programs to support prioritized business opportunities.

  • Train and develop the field team on product/competitor knowledge and differentiation messages to customers.

  • Ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and Bristol Myers Squibb's Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a Pharmaceutical / Medical field.

  • Business School degree or MBA preferred.

  • At least 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Demonstrated track record of success in product development, with a focus on innovation, quality, and regulatory compliance.

  • Able to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with senior management and Global Brand Team.

  • Proven history of seeking out new information and learning quickly, absorbing new concepts, analyzing data, and making effective decisions.

  • Broad and in-depth understanding of local and regional challenges relative to the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Demonstrated use of communication and change management strategies/tactics to influence new ways of thinking and working.

  • Strong project management, analytical, and forecasting skills.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills, able to create energy and excitement.

  • Knowledge of financial principles and how to manage budgets, control expenses, and manage product performance.

  • Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.

  • Traveling is required.
