Job Description

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our team in delivering complex airfield projects. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations, and client requirements.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on airfield or similar projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, geological considerations, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with project management software and tools, such as MS Project, Asana, or Trello.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered Engineer status, PMP/ChPP certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience working in the GCC/KSA region, with a strong understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
  • Aviation experience, with a focus on airfield or similar projects.
