About the Role

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Manager to lead our project controls efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing all phases of project controls, including planning, scheduling, and cost analysis.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Controls Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to project teams on project controls procedures and best practices.
  2. Client Interface: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, attending regular meetings and providing statistical reports.
  3. Procedure Development: Develop and implement project controls procedures to support the implementation of best practices for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management processes.
  4. Master Coding Structure: Participate in the development of the master coding structure (WBS, CBS, etc.), interfacing with all relevant departments and functions.
  5. Change Management: Assess the impact of pre/post construction changes on project objectives.
  6. Data Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of a common data environment that is utilized to manage project data produced by various departments/functions.
  7. Training and Development: Train personnel, complete performance reviews, and provide personnel development for assigned employees.
  8. Reporting: Create statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.

Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
  2. Experience: 15+ years of overall related experience.
  3. Project Experience: Experience on projects across Civils, Infrastructure, Buildings and Utilities, or equivalent.
  4. Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to perform in a management capacity.

Preferred Qualifications
  1. GCC Experience: GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) experience preferred, KSA (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
  2. Aviation Experience: Aviation experience is preferred.
  3. Transportation Experience: Transportation experience on major programs.
  4. Engineering Knowledge: Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field.
  5. Communication Skills: Effective oral and written skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal/external correspondence.
