Job Summary

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Manager to lead our project controls efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing all phases of project controls, including planning, scheduling, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Controls Leadership: Provide guidance, direction, and specialized assistance to project teams to resolve complex project control problems.
  2. Client Interface: Interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and provide statistical reports using a robust reporting and analytics platform.
  3. Procedure Development: Develop and implement project controls procedures to support the implementation of best practices for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management processes.
  4. Master Coding Structure: Participate in the development of the master coding structure (WBS, CBS, etc.) and interface with all relevant departments and functions.
  5. Change Impact Assessment: Assess the impact of pre/post construction changes on project objectives.
  6. Common Data Environment: Oversee the development and maintenance of a common data environment to manage project data produced by various departments/functions.
  7. Training and Development: Train personnel, complete performance reviews, and provide personnel development for assigned employees.
  8. Statistical Reporting: Create statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 15+ years of overall related experience, with experience on projects across Civils, Infrastructure, Buildings, and Utilities, or equivalent.
  3. Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to perform in a management capacity.
  4. Desired Skills: GCC experience, Aviation experience, Transportation experience on major programs, and proficiency in Project Controls Software, reporting, and Business Intelligence solutions/tools.
