At WSP, we're seeking a seasoned HSE Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives. With 15 years of experience in construction and operations, you'll oversee the implementation of our HSEQ Management System, ensuring the protection of our people and the environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage health, safety, and environmental arrangements for projects, ensuring compliance with WSP's HSEQ Management System and legal requirements.
  • Supervise HSE Inspectors in monitoring health and safety arrangements at project sites, adhering to client and legal requirements.
  • Develop and deliver health, safety, and environmental training to WSP employees, including induction and safe working practices.
  • Review and approve contractor health, safety, and environmental plans, risk assessments, and method statements against legal and client requirements.
  • Conduct daily site visits to ensure health and safety measures are in place before work begins.
  • Participate in weekly joint HSE inspections with HSE Inspectors and contractor personnel, ensuring corrective actions are addressed.
  • Organize HSE meetings with clients, WSP project staff, and contractors.
  • Initiate and test emergency response plans, ensuring drills are carried out according to project schedules and performance standards.
  • Ensure HSE Inspectors follow up on contractor incident investigation reports, identifying and closing out corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular site safety reviews.
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant subject.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience.
  • Relevant Health and Safety Qualifications, such as NEBOSH IGC.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
