Raffles is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role will involve ensuring the accurate receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods and supplies for our organization.
The key responsibilities of this position include:
- Receiving, verifying, and inspecting incoming goods against purchase orders to ensure accuracy in quality and quantity.
- Documenting discrepancies or damages and reporting them to appropriate departments.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing daily receiving logs for both food and non-food items.
- Collaborating with various departments, including Accounts Payable and Purchasing, to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhering to HACCP standards in all aspects of product handling and storage.
- Maintaining a clean and organized receiving area.
- Performing other duties as assigned by management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A college diploma or equivalent qualifications with previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Knowledge of Materials Control, inventory management practices, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and move items of varying weights, with basic math skills for accurate counting and measuring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities is a plus.
