About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Specialist to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in promoting our products and services within assigned geographic areas and customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Promotion: Develop and execute strategies to promote Medtronic products and services to healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including physicians, hospital personnel, and other key decision-makers.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to customers, including therapy indications, pre-procedure planning, and intra-operative support.
  • Education and Consulting: Conduct on-site education and consulting, as well as support the establishment and maintenance of customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Communication: Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the commercial organization to recommend enhancements in sales processes, product launches, and optimize clinical support pathways.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 5+ years' experience in the medical device industry and/or working in a hospital environment.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of cranial & spinal anatomy and pathology, experience with supporting ortho-spine and neurosurgery procedures, and familiarity with OT environment: sterilization and radiation protocols.
  • Skills: Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel, and ability to coordinate/participate in numerous tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment in an organized manner while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Radiology Protocols: Familiarity with radiology protocols and imaging technology.
  • Medical Terminology: Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and the medical device industry.
  • Hospital/Clinic Experience: Hospital/clinic experience.
