Job Title: Pediatric Orthopedic Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Orthopedic Consultant to join our team at Antal International. As a consultant in pediatric orthopedics, you will be responsible for leading the pediatric orthopedic team, providing advanced care for pediatric orthopedic conditions, collaborating with medical professionals to optimize patient care, driving training and development initiatives, and ensuring the highest standards of care for pediatric orthopedic patients in our top-rated facility.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Provide high-quality pediatric orthopedic care to patients, utilizing your expertise to diagnose and treat a range of conditions.
  2. Offer consultative services as requested, providing expert advice and guidance to medical professionals and patients.
  3. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents, ensuring they receive the training and support needed to excel in their roles.
  4. Participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in your area of expertise, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance their skills.
  5. Contribute to research activities, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in pediatric orthopedics.
  6. Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed, utilizing your expertise to inform decision-making and drive positive change.
  7. Perform special procedures as privileged, adhering to the highest standards of care and safety.
  8. Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of care.
  9. Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the smooth operation of the pediatric orthopedic team.

Required Qualifications

Education

  1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing, demonstrating a strong foundation in pediatric orthopedics.
  2. Completion of required period of training in specialty and/or subspecialty, showcasing your expertise and commitment to the field.
  3. Saudi Arab or American/European Board Certification or equivalent, demonstrating your proficiency and expertise in pediatric orthopedics.
  4. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, highlighting your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Dataflow is a must, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.

Professional Experience

  1. Min. 3-4 years Post Board/Fellowship in specialty, demonstrating your experience and expertise in pediatric orthopedics.
  2. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council, showcasing your commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.

Language

  1. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
