Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing orders, and ensuring seamless delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, processing orders, and conducting inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve delivery issues and oversee the return process.
  • Verify and track received inventory, reconcile shipping invoices, and receiving reports.
  • Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper levels and refuse acceptance of damaged or unacceptable items.
  • Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating employees, while ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
