Job Description

The Procurement Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies for large-scale projects. This role involves procuring major equipment, managing procurement and construction packages to ensure value creation for the company, while ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and local content requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the company's strategic procurement objectives by enhancing local content compliance and developing contracting and sourcing strategies.
  2. Ensure full compliance with project contracts and delegation of authority (DOA) schedules, supporting stakeholders on procurement processes and policies.
  3. Provide project-specific contracting solutions, including contract structuring, bidding, and advisory support.
  4. Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and resolve contractual disputes with contractors, manage contract change orders, amendments, claims, and disputes, ensuring legal compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 15-20 years of experience in procurement and contracts management within the petrochemical, mining, or industrial sectors.
