Job Summary:

Parsons Oman is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager - Systems Construction to lead our team in delivering a significant railway project in Riyadh. As a key member of our professional engineering, construction, and cost management team, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of contractors, ensuring timely and quality results, and maintaining close liaison with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of contractors to ensure timely and quality results.
  • Regularly report to and maintain close liaison with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Ensure relevant interfacing is being delivered across all stakeholders, including site supervision and engineering management consultants.
  • Demonstrate continued assurance of the project through regular monitoring and control.
  • Manage and work closely with site supervision and engineering management consultants to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure relevant integration is adequately addressed and delivered, including review and sign-off on contractor documentation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of experience in delivering railway systems construction.
  • Understanding of how to deliver railways, including acceptance by authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Ability to agree and approve contractor outputs.
  • Close scrutiny of all HSE matters.
  • Flexible approach to delivery.
  • Detailed understanding of the railway design and V&V process.
  • Detailed understanding of installation, testing, and commissioning in a railway environment.
  • Good understanding of delivering railway safety cases.
  • Methodical approach to delivery.
