About the Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned talent acquisition professional to lead our efforts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As Director of Founder and Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with top-tier founders, building a robust talent ecosystem, and establishing a high-performing recruitment function. Your expertise in talent acquisition and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of our startup initiatives and helping us achieve our mission.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures we attract the best talent in the region.
  2. Founder Network Development: Proactively engage with founder talent through networking, relationship-building, and community engagement efforts to identify and nurture future partners.
  3. Internal Recruitment: Build and manage the recruitment function for SSRH's corporate office, including tools, processes, and metrics to ensure efficient, high-impact operations.

Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in an international context and in the healthcare space.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian labor market and cultural nuances.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring recruiting teams, and demonstrated leadership capabilities with a hands-on approach.
  • Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and founder assessment skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a venture capital firm or similar environment.
  • Fully fluent in Arabic and English.
