Electrical Technician Responsibilities

**Electrical Technician Responsibilities**:

- installing and repairing electrical components such as circuit breakers, switches, transformers, and fuses
- Testing electrical systems to identify problems with wiring and circuitry
- Daily Inspecting electrical equipment such as motors, generators, welding machines, and transformers to ensure safe operation of equipment
- Maintaining electrical equipment such as light fixtures, motors, generators, and switches to ensure that they are working properly
- Process control instrumentation, PLC troubleshooting, motor/gearbox alignment.
- Diagnose and repair all electric equipment including PLC control robotic systems, motor drives for the plant.
- Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
- Advising management on continued use of unsuitable equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
- Ordering of electrical supplies and equipment.
- Support production team continually to run all machines on time without failure.
- Support maintenance team on daily basis.

**QUALIFICATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**:

- 3-5 Years’ experience in electrical field.
- Knowledge of workshop activities - like tooling, knowledge to read mechanical assembly drawings, Electrical schematic diagrams etc.
- Basic computer & Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge.
- Verbal and written Communication.
- Experienced in using of electrical measuring tools & all other tools related to electrical works.
- High School Diploma
