Key Account Manager

The Key Account Manager (KAM ) ENT & Neuro in Medical is the primary relationship manager for an assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. The role establishes professional relationships within all levels of the assigned accounts, with a focus on reaching key personnel and top tier key opinion leaders (KOLs). The KAM is responsible for meeting assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin within the assigned accounts.
**Your Responsibilities**:
Develop and expand long term relationships with key personnel and key opinion leaders (KOLs) within the Medical community - ENT & Neuro departments.
Thoroughly understand the account’s purchasing drivers/behaviors, both technical and non-technical.
Conduct analysis and performance evaluation of all sales in assigned region, maintain an up-to-date sales funnel and participates in regular business reviews with customer procurement.
Identify selling opportunities across product lines; identify customer gaps and equate to sales opportunity; including prospecting and lead generation
- Develop account strategy and lead team selling efforts
Strengthen existing customer relationships to protect revenue and gain market share
- Coordinate customer relations with other product specialists
Serve as a liaison between customers, internal teams and the business unit (BU) enabling a direct flow of business and technical intelligence to the BU, and presentation of tailored solutions
Coordinate with local field marketing account-based marketing activities, trade shows, networking with local governments, associations, and academic institutions; recommend product, pricing, advertising and sales promotion strategies
Drive customer success and care to build customer champions for referrals
Effectively communicate and forecast orders and risks to management.
**YOUR EXPERIENCE**:
2-3+ years of account management experience within the medical device industry.
Life Sciences or related field graduate or Bio Medical Engineer.
Capital equipment sales; ENT & Neuro segment experience a plus.
