Senior Employee Relations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Senior Employee Relations Specialist to join our thriving HR team. This role is critical in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, facilitating effective communication, and proactively managing employee relations to enhance organizational performance and employee engagement.
**Core Responsibilities in Employee Relations**:
- **Policy Development and Compliance**: Assist in the creation and implementation of HR policies and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- **Employee Engagement**: Develop strategies to boost morale, enhance communication, and retain talent through engagement and recognition programs.
- **Training and Support**: Conduct training sessions on employee relations topics such as communication, conflict management, and discrimination prevention.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**: Analyze employee data to identify trends and develop solutions that promote a healthy workplace environment.
- **Coordinate business travel arrangements and booking**:including flights, accommodations, and transportation, ensuring compliance with company policies and budgets.
**Essential Skills and Competencies for a Senior Employee Relations Specialist**:
- **Communication Excellence**: Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate understanding and negotiate effectively with diverse groups.
- **Problem-Solving Acumen**: Analytical and decisive decision-making skills to provide timely and effective solutions to employee issues.
- **Empathy and Interpersonal Skills**: Ability to build trust and positive relationships with employees and stakeholders across all levels.
- **Attention to Detail**: Keen attention to detail for accurate documentation and policy adherence.
- **Time Management**: Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively within set timelines.
**Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations or a related HR function within a mid-to-large-sized organization.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience in a diverse and inclusive organizational setting is desirable.
