**Description**:
**Framework for the regular corporate strategy development and planning process**:

- Assist in developing proposals for the design of the regular group-wide strategy development and planning process, for approval by the MC and the Board
- Assist in defining the framework to be used by the people involved for structuring and documenting the inputs and outputs of the strategy development and planning process
- Assist in establishing a strategy management calendar for periodically monitoring performance relative to the strategic plans and allowing adjustments to the strategy and its execution
- Assist in establishing a strategy performance framework that links achievement of strategic objectives to KPI scorecards across BUs and levels

**Strategic intelligence**:

- Assist in organizing a group-wide strategic intelligence network in the BUs, also at Regional level, and the other enabling functions
- Be responsible for collecting, interpreting and structuring the intelligence collected by the network in the field from internal and external sources according to the needs identified
- Be responsible for communicating the intelligence reviews to the relevant users on a periodic or ad hoc basis, as needed

**Execution of the regular corporate strategy development and planning process**:

- Assist in developing the corporate strategy (business choices, strategic objectives, etc.) for ACWA Power as well as for each Business Unit and Enabling Function
- Monitor the implementation of the strategies developed by the Business Units and Enabling functions

**Specific corporate strategy initiatives**:
Undertake / assist specific strategic initiatives, as directed

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- MBA or equivalent education from a reputed university is highly preferred.
- Bilingual skills in Arabic and English is preferred

**Minimum Experience**:

- At least 8 years of working experience in a Strategy, Research or similar role
- A mix of industry and consulting experience is preferred, with a strong business acumen & understanding of the industry current and future landscape

**Cross-cultural experience**

Has lived and worked outside of home country or spent time in a multi-jurisdictional role overseeing other countries or regions.
