As Director, Construction you will take on a strategic leadership role responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing the construction of real estate assets. The Director, Construction will drive process improvements, optimize vendor networks, and strategically manage relationships with relevant construction companies, consultants and authorities.

- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the effective coordination and execution of construction activities across the project portfolio.
- Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Continuously assess development and construction processes and identify key areas for improvement.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety on construction sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Develop and manage construction budgets, expenses, cost reduction initiatives, and resource allocation.
- Integrate sustainable practices into construction projects aligning with the assigned programs commitment to environmental responsibility.
- Implement initiatives that reduce carbon footprint and enhance resource efficiency.**Educational Qualifications & Work Experience**
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of postgraduate experience of which a minimum of 5 years with project/contract/procurement management experience at an established general contractor, consultancy or developer within commercial construction (logistics, industry sectors preferred).
- Solid knowledge of property development from A to Z, including procurement experience.
- Proven track record of leading successful construction projects and initiatives.**Competencies**
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and manage a project portfolio.
- Cultural understanding coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills towards stakeholders from various geographical, cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude to address complex challenges.
- Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally.
