Innov8 Agency are recruiting Construction Project Director (Dam projects) for our Saudi Arabia client for an innovative and pioneering infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.

**Role Outline**:
As the Construction Project Director (Dams), you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Large dam construction projects, from planning and execution to successful completion.

This position specifically requires expertise in large dam construction projects (budget range more than 500 Million USD), as well as 20 - 25 years of senior Construction management experience (Mainly Water infrastructure)

ANYONE WITHOUT DAM EXPERIENCE WORKING FOR A CONTRACTOR WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Acting as the official representative of the Construction contractor Company on site, dealing with the Employer's official representatives and third parties
- Managing the works, by carrying out the Head Office's instructions, in accordance with the contract, and within the limits of his powers, as set by the Board of Directors
- Setting-up all site activities, ensuring the preparation of the operating plan with the required resources and its implementation, to reach the objectives defined by the conditions, the specifications and the requirements of the contract
- Guaranteeing that the technical and administrative services support the production department
- Ensuring the preparation of the work operating plan, according to the target defined by the contract milestone requirements
- Ensuring the field project control regarding schedule, costs, quality, health, safety and the environment
- Reviewing and approving the work methods and procedures prepared by the Technical Office, with the support of the Production Departments
- Reviewing and approving Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Plans and inspecting test plans and implementing them on-site
- Verifying technical executive and inspection procedures
- Verifying managerial instructions
- Ensuring that works are executed safely and according to quality, schedule and cost parameters
- Approving the proposal of dispositions of nonconformity
- Ensuring the implementation of the changes required by the Designer and accepted by the Engineer
- Informing Engineers of detected non-conformities and how to conform
- Ensuring the compliance of the design of the works - as per specifications, norms, etc. - with the contractual requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 25 years of overall experience in the construction industry, with a focus on large-scale dam projects.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in a Senior construction manager or Project Director or similar leadership role.
- At least 5 years' experience in large dam construction projects is mandatory (500 million USD projects).
- In-depth knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of engineering standards, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction laws, regulations, and practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
