Change Management Senior Officer responsible for coordinating the change requests queue and ensuring changes are made efficiently. Change management senior officer has a duty to protect the IT systems of the organization, ensuring the changes that are made do not present an unacceptable risk. He or she must look for conflicts in active changes and determine the most appropriate time to commit changes to the production systems.
- Review and ensure requests for change (RFCs) are documented
- Enhance the change management procedure, processes and policy
- Categorize change requests based on defined policy and procedure
- Prioritize changes according to business needs
- Managing the changes from the development team to operations
- Evaluating the change impact and organizational readiness to limit potential risk
- Managing the change portfolio, which allows the organization to prepare for and successfully adopt the change
- Authorize minor and major change requests
- Chair Change Advisory Board
- Convene the change advisory board (CAB) meetings
- Managing the implementation of changes
- Mediate conflicts related to the change where necessary
- Create and circulate the change schedule
- Conduct Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) after the implementation of changes
- Create and maintain change management dashboard

- Bachelors degree om Computer Science/ Information Technology or related field
- 3 to 5 years experience
- ITIL Certification (must)
- PMP training or certification (preferable not a must)
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of operating systems and databases
- Knowledge of process management
- Teamwork engagement
