**MEP QC Inspector (Pipeline Projects, NEOM) -**

**Job Summary**:
The MEP QC Inspector for Pipeline Projects is responsible for ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works related to pipeline construction comply with project specifications, international standards, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures. This role involves conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, and coordinating with construction teams to maintain compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:1. Inspection & Quality Control**:

- Conduct inspections of MEP installations related to pipeline projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and industry standards (ASME, API, NFPA, IEC, BS, etc.).
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections on mechanical systems, electrical works, and plumbing installations, verifying materials, welding, coatings, and other pipeline-related components.
- Ensure proper implementation of method statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and risk assessments during construction activities.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformities (NCRs) and ensure corrective actions are taken.

**2. Testing & Commissioning**:

- Witness and verify hydrostatic pressure tests, pneumatic tests, and other required tests for pipelines and associated MEP systems.
- Ensure proper functioning of valves, pumps, HVAC systems, and electrical installations within the pipeline infrastructure.
- Participate in commissioning and start-up activities to confirm systems meet operational requirements.

**3. Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality documentation in accordance with project and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly quality reports and submit them to the QA/QC Manager.
- Review and verify material test certificates (MTCs), welding procedure qualifications (WPS/PQR), and calibration certificates for testing equipment.

**4. Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure adherence to NEOM project quality plans, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with HSE teams to ensure that quality inspections are conducted safely and without risk to personnel or the environment.
- Provide support in audits conducted by clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

**5. Coordination & Communication**:

- Work closely with site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure MEP activities are carried out per quality requirements.
- Attend project meetings and communicate quality-related concerns to stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams on quality best practices and issue resolution.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Education**: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
- **Experience**: Minimum **5 years** of experience in quality inspection for MEP works, with a strong background in pipeline projects (oil & gas, water, or industrial).
- **Certifications (preferred)**:

- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) - AWS or CSWIP
- ASNT Level II in NDT (Ultrasonic Testing, Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, etc.)
- ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification
- NEBOSH or equivalent HSE training is a plus

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of international standards (API, ASME, ASTM, NFPA, IEC, BS).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP and pipeline drawings.
- Hands-on experience with quality control tools, inspection techniques, and testing procedures.
- Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with mínimal supervision.

**Work Conditions**:

- Site-based role in NEOM, requiring extended periods of work in challenging environments.
- Rotation-based schedule, depending on project requirements.
- Collaboration with multinational teams and strict adherence to NEOM project guidelines.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
