**Job Title**: Mechanical QA/QC Manager

**Job Location**: NEOM, Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:
The Mechanical QA/QC Manager will oversee and ensure quality assurance and control of all mechanical systems and installations for the NEOM project. This role includes developing and implementing quality plans, conducting inspections and audits, managing a team of inspectors, and liaising with contractors and stakeholders to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Quality Planning and Implementation**:

- Develop and implement the project-specific Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan for mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and mechanical infrastructure.
- Set up QA/QC procedures, checklists, and test plans for all stages of mechanical engineering and construction work.
- Monitor and improve quality standards, ensuring compliance with NEOM and industry-specific requirements (e.g., ASME, ISO).
- **Inspections and Audits**:

- Conduct regular inspections and audits on-site to verify that work meets project standards and specifications.
- Supervise and support mechanical quality inspectors in performing daily quality checks and testing on installations and equipment.
- Identify, document, and manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Review and approve quality documents, inspection test plans (ITPs), method statements, material submittals, and commissioning procedures for compliance.
- Maintain quality records and prepare detailed reports for management and client review, covering project quality performance metrics.
- Oversee the preparation of Mechanical Completion Dossiers and ensure all QC documentation is completed accurately.
- **Coordination and Communication**:

- Collaborate with the construction team, project management, and contractors to ensure alignment on quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams, contractors, and subcontractors to address quality-related issues promptly.
- Provide technical guidance on QA/QC practices and problem resolution.
- **Risk Management and Safety**:

- Identify potential quality risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and quality.
- Promote a safety culture by enforcing safety standards in all QA/QC procedures and on-site practices.
- Ensure that quality processes comply with NEOM’s safety and environmental requirements.
- **Training and Mentoring**:

- Lead training sessions for QA/QC team members to enhance technical skills and maintain high-quality standards.
- Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on quality inspection techniques, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in mechanical quality assurance and quality control, preferably in large-scale infrastructure, oil & gas, or construction projects.
- Proven experience with international quality standards (e.g., ASME, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements in the Middle East or similar regions.
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ASME, or similar QA/QC certification is preferred.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in quality management systems, audits, and inspection procedures.
- Familiarity with project management software, inspection databases, and documentation tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with multi-disciplinary teams.

Pay: ﷼10,000.00 - ﷼11,000.00 per month
