We are currently looking for a Technical Coordination - Integration Specialist o join our Al Ula Tramway project, based in Al Ula, Saudi Arabia. This role supports the Project Director and will provide technical oversight of activities relating to Integration of the Design and other third parties involved in the project, in order to ensure all project elements, come together to deliver a fully integrated system. The position is responsible for acting independently on Integration matters pertaining to the project.

**Main duties**:

- Develop the interfacing strategy and planning for completing the systems interfaces activities of the rail project to ensure that those necessary interfaces activities can be accomplished in timely manner throughout the project life cycle
- Manage both internal and external sources of information and interfaces according to the project scope and schedule
- Coordinate with all key stakeholders to ensure the system interfaces requirements are captured and defined
- Managing of the project wide rail systems integration function.
- Providing management and demonstrable commitment to Systems Integration principles by setting up the processes for integration on the project.
- Providing specialist knowledge in a related systems field & software configuration management.
- Facilitating resolution of integration issues with the various design disciplines.
- Maintaining regular Interdisciplinary Integration Meetings.
- Generation of key metrics for progress reporting based in Integration Activities.
- Defining the integration activities at each technical stage gate review of the evolving design and development to enable: Project design integration, Acceptance to the next stage of design and development, capturing of residual issues for resolution; and Work with the Assurance Manager to demonstrate that assurance requirements are met.
- Supporting the achievement of systems integration and acceptance with agreement from stakeholders in a timely way.
- Co‐operating in all matters relating to health, safety and environment, including following safe working procedures at all times and not deviating from agreed safe system of work.
- Manage and offer real-time mitigation strategies the interface resolution process to ensure that all interface conflicts will be addressed and resolved
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement and integration to achieve programme objectives for scope, budget, schedule, quality, sustainability, legacy, etc.
- Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders and communicate issues & concerns concerning coordination, approvals and system interface issues
- Regular reports to the client on progress and interface resolution issues and mitigation

**Technical skills**:

- Degree, in relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum of 15 years relevant experience; at least 5 years experience as a lead position in a mass transport projects
- High degree of technical proficiency in design and construction of complex transportation systems
- Knowledge of design and construction management aspects of Mass Transportation Projects including interface and coordination with Stakeholders
- Have a good understanding of the various railway infrastructure disciplines (including Structures, Track, Power Supply, Overhead Catenary System, Tunnel Ventilation System and MEP) and how they interact / interface with each other.
- Have a good understanding of the various railway systems disciplines (including Signalling, Communications, SCADA, PSD, AFC and Rolling Stocks) and how they interact / interface with each other.
