Title: Regulatory Specialist

Location: Riyadh

Full-Time

**Position Summary**: contributes to compliant labelling and product related communications, for Food Supplement and Food for Special Medical Purposes gives input to business & technical in Local I&R projects and builds relations with authorities and associations.

**A Day in Life..**
- Keep abreast of local and international (e.g. Codex) regulatory knowledge and share regulatory knowledge with RSA staff and various functions.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of local and international food supplement regulations, including EFSA and Codex Alimentarius standards.
- Propose & implement validated action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
- Contribute as key member to local I&R projects. Be assigned as regulatory collaborator and/or leader in I2L system.
- Develop/update current labels to comply with local regulations, corporate compliance guidelines, EFSA and Codex, new formulation, formula upgrade, market requirements, to support new launches or new geographical expansion
- Archiving all project documents which includes - but not limited to - final artworks, approval forms, reference documents in both soft & hard copies.

**Are you a FIT?**

Minimum 3 years experience in a regulatory Affairs or in close contact with regulatory environment ( food association, industry or governmental authorities).

Applied knowledge in at least one of the regulatory related topics such as, food safety, consumer information, nutrition & health, additive.

Demonstrated leading skills in a previous job. Demonstrated influencing skills in a previous job.

Possesses a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMPs), dietary supplements, and food supplements, with a particular focus on the Middle East region, especially Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Bahrain.
