**_Job Description _**:

- _Handle all coordination and produce of detailing among all trades for D&B projects in liaison of key design consultants and specialists from project inception through completion. _
- _Ensure all information issued is compliant with current regulations and planning permissions. _
- _Ensure that all information from consultant is compatible and there are no construction conflicts. _
- _Ensure the design is being delivered to schedule and budget. _
- _Collate, distributes, and file all drawings and information required for construction to all relevant parties / Document Management System. _
- _Prepare and finalize submittals and technical approvals. _
- _Control and coordinate the design so as to minimize construction costs while satisfying the client and contract requirements. _
- _Handle shop drawings & constructability. _
- _Propose alternative material or details and conduct comprehensive Value Engineering and optimization. _
- _Identify, analyze and follow-up on technical risk in order to secure the development of the project. _
- _Lead design meetings, writing reports and giving presentations. _
- _Report to Project Director / Manager. _
- _Supervise Technical Coordinators, Shop Drawers, Draftsman and Quantity Surveyors. _
- _Expected relationships with other departments: Operation, Procurement, Estimation. _
- _External relationships: Clients/ Clients Rep., Design Consultants, Specialists and Specialist Suppliers.**_Education, Experience and Qualifications: _**
- _Bachelor's degree in architecture & planning / Interior Architecture. _
- _15 years of working experience in the field. _
- _Previous experience in high-end luxury buildings. _
- _Certifications in Design management, Value Engineering and Sustainability. _
- _Knowledgeable with the RIBA. _
- _Function specific experience: Technical Support. _
- _Industry related experience: _
- _Contracting / Design and Build. _
- _Fluency in English and Arabic - French is a plus. _
- _Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, 3D Max and NavisWorks. _
