**Project Overview**:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently estimated at 94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system. Riyadh’s population of nearly 6 million is forecast to increase to 8 million by 2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

**Position Summary**:
This role supports the Operational Transition Lead in the coordination of the Operational Transition of the railway to the end-user operator on the Riyadh metro project. This includes stations, depots and rail systems (track, traction power, SIG, COM etc.). As the project nears its completion milestones and the railway is entering into trial run, and then subsequent commercial service, new processes and procedures need to be developed and communicated/trained to project staff. Trackers and reports need to be created, and problems are found once the systems are being operated as intended. This role plans for and executes plans to transition the scope in a seamless way to the operator.

**Duties/ Responsibilities**:

- Develop trackers and workoff lists for the transition to trial run.
- Develop and implement Operation protocols, plans and support models for operator occupying facilities including system access protocols and coordinating technical issue closure to allow drills to proceed.
- Risk mitigation planning and implementation (e.g., provision of fire wardens if F&LS systems are incomplete / certification is in process)
- Develop handover / walkdown processes and conduct inspections for operator occupancy to ensure condition of facilities, rooms, and areas are documented
- Develop contractual agreements between BACS and the operator or other entities required to facilitate trial run.
- Tracking and Transfer of keys, passwords and system accesses
- Spare parts coordination
- Be a visible leader in safety; confirm all safety hazards have been identified and communicated to the work group with the LOTO review/ support the LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) and permitting teams where required.

**Skills Requirements**:

- Typically requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in an engineering or scientific discipline and a minimum of 5 -7 years of relevant experience or 9 -11years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in design and construction projects across multidiscipline areas is ideal, with the ability to read and interpret electrical, instrument & mechanical drawings.
- Computer literate knowledge mandatory (comfortable user of Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)
- Skilled in English oral and written communication.
- Must be able to obtain the right to work and remain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
