Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to maintain accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Manage general ledger entries and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, providing variance analysis and financial forecasts. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Taxation and Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate internal and external audits, implementing recommendations to enhance financial processes.
- Process Improvement: Review and improve financial policies and control systems to enhance operational efficiency. Implement and maintain accounting software systems to streamline financial operations.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

Work Environment: This role operates in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics environment. The General Accountant will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations and management, to support financial decision-making and ensure the company's financial health.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼6,000.00 per month
