The Role & Key Responsibilities:

- Overall, in charge of products and operations of the company.
- Part of the Senior Management Team involved in driving the business forward in line with set targets.
- Ensure business unit operates effectively within company standards and procedures.
- Ensuring controls applied follow group and controls are appropriately documented accordingly.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and other requirements of the fund’s specifications.
- Helping to solve operational problems encountered by staff on a day-to-day basis as well as complex decision making.
- Work with the Head of Financial Reporting to ensure all statements are being delivered in line with reporting requirements.
- Liaise with Auditors on any challenges which occur in the reporting process.
- Oversee annual FATCA & CRS returns jointly with Head of Compliance.
- Monitoring of fees receivable
- Provide and support Group Reporting requirements on a monthly basis
- Ensuring best practice are adopted and improving processes to gain efficiencies.
- Planning and organising workload and helping prioritization of deliverables.
- Implementing controls and review processes to high standards.
- Leading regular Team meetings and allocation of works, Staff development training and monitoring
- Involvement in all aspects of the company such as supervisory functions, training and recruitment of staff and monitoring of client service standards.
- Oversee relationship with outsourced providers and third parties.
- Assist with new Fund Launches to ensure these operate in a smooth manner.
- Ad hoc projects which may occur.
- To ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations are prepared, reviewed and delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly basis along with any other client specific reporting requirements.
- Attending client meetings both at onboarding and launched stages.
- Ensuring client enquiries are answered in accordance with Apex service standards on an ongoing basis.
- Oversight of Transfer Agency Functions - ensuring AML/KYC policies are being applied appropriately.
- Review monthly service delivery and ensure Clients are provided a quality service.

Skills Required:

- At least 7 years plus experience in a manager role incorporating the above functions.
- Strong Educational Background, preferably
- Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel (Experience in Paxus is required).
- Proactive and willing to drive things forward.
- An ability to work to and meet agreed deadlines.
- Flexible in work approach due to nature of the role to meet client deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a pressurised environment.
- Capacity to problem-solve and ability to deal with complex issues.
- A participative management style that aims to motivate staff and develop their skills and capabilities.
- Experience in the all-around process of fund administration including: Calculation of NAV, Pricing, Processing of Corporate Actions, Calculation of Performance Fees, Shareholder Services, AML and KYC verifications
