Senior Project Manager

**What this job involves**:
We are looking for Senior Project Manager for our P&DS team, to be based on site on a major Program in Riyadh, as part of a PMC. The role is primarily project managing the delivery of services related to the final design along with the planning, phasing, co-ordination and construction of the phased and timely delivery on a large-scale multi-asset mixed use development incorporating a significant tunnel and road gyratory. We are seeking Senior Project Managers with strong experience in construction across some or all of the following areas; Iconic Projects, Structural Steel Works, Retail and Buildings.
**What your day-to-day will look like**:
Take Senior leadership role on day to day delivery of all project/construction management tasks.
Ensure the development of the client brief into Project Execution Plan to suit the specific requirements of the project.
Undertake final design stages including elements of design management and manage design teams in the development of design solutions to meet the client’s expectations and budget.
Produce constructability and buildability approaches and review those proposed by contractor to ensure the right systems, techniques and productivity targets are being met
Oversee and ensure the management and handling of local government approvals process.
Take Senior role in the administration of complex contracts, proactively managing and confirming the compliance of contractors/consultants to the contract terms and conditions.
Take Senior role with the compilation of tender documents and critically reviewing tender returns, contract negotiations, award of contracts and client reporting.
**Desired or preferred experience and technical skills**:
Major international project experience is essential.
Excellent written and verbal skills with a fluent proficiency in English.
International safety qualification / recognition an advantage but not essential.
**Required Skills and Experience**:
Degree Qualification essential and Masters Qualification preferred.
Professional Memberships are an advantage but not essential (Saudi Council of Engineers, CIOB, PMP etc).
+20 years relevant experience in managing related design and on site construction in the region.
Prior PMC Experience preferred in the role of Senior Project/Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer.
