Overview & Responsibilities

Join our dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia as an Accountant, where you'll play a crucial role in our financial operations.

Your key responsibilities will include booking field service absorption in ERP, managing AR, preparing VAT returns, and ensuring compliance with company policies. You'll oversee project costs, WIP, COS entries, and monthly reconciliations, while also handling supplier invoices and employee expense reports. With a strong background in accounting, excellent command of English, and proficiency in ERP systems, you'll thrive in this role.

Knowledge of KSA tax laws and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities- Booking field service absorption in ERP.- Preparation of data for projects’ costs, booking of WIP and COS entries as per company policies.-
- Follow up with customers for delinquent payments.- Booking of revenue entries as per IFRS and company policies.- Prepare VAT return- Booking supplier invoices and credit notes to correct cost allocations.- Prepare weekly payment runs in the ERP system and online banking- Review and process employee expense reports according to company policies- Preparation of monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation and submission to Finance Manager for review.- Preparation of monthly accruals and closing entries at GL level and submission of final Trial Balance to Finance Manager.- Coordinate with SSC team for timely processing of monthly intercompany recharges.- Coordinate with counterparts in inter-companies for projects’ revenue share information and related billing.- Preparation of monthly WHT, VAT schedules for return filings.- To be point of contact for providing information to auditors for annual statutory audit, tax/zakat return and TP Disclosure Form/TP Local file.- Liaison with IT for improved utilization of ERP processes.- Assisting Finance Manager in Internal audits, and other ad-hoc reporting requirement for EMA region and other compliance requirement.

Background and Experience- B.S. in Accounting or Finance, professional qualification ACCA, CMA, CA, CPA or similar- Good knowledge of KSA Tax Laws including VAT and WHT.- Good knowledge of accounting systems/ERP preferably Oracle- Excellent command of MS Office package especially spreadsheets- Capable to work independently with mínimal supervision- Capable to meet strict reporting deadlines- Excellent command of English, Arabic knowledge is a plus.
