The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of an organization, including managing accounting processes, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis for the KSA region. This role involves leading a team of accountants, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and providing financial insights to support decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Lead and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors to facilitate the annual financial audit and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize financial processes.
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and other stakeholders to manage banking relationships, negotiate favourable terms, and resolve financial issues.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
- 5+ years' experience as an accountant in Travel Industry
- Thorough knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Team player with the ability to take initiative
