**Overview**:
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Corporate Data Office within our Digital Transformation Admin Area.
- Responsible for expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture
- Support external software developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists
- Build infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources
- Develop data analytics tools for actionable insights
- Optimize performance of data platforms and services
- Build data quality checks and develop processes for resolving data quality issues
- Develop corporate data library and metadata repository
- Enable engineering components for data strategy framework
- Establish measures for improving metadata completeness and quality

**Education & Experience Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management of Information System, or Information Management
- Ten (10) years of experience with large-scale data management and oversight
- Prior experience with industry leading data quality and data protection management practices
- Experience with data governance platforms/tooling such as Informatica, Collibra, Alation, etc.
- Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, data modeling, and data quality rules
- Proficient in data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping
- Consulting skills with change management concepts and strategies
- Knowledge of risk data architecture in the Oil and Gas sector
