Solutions & Strategy, Functional Analyst (Ksa, Onsite)

**We're specifically looking for a Solutions & Strategy, Functional Analystwho is **already based in Saudi Arabia** and comfortable working **on-site in Al Khobar, Dammam.**The role is scheduled to last at least a year*

**As a Solutions & Strategy, Functional Analyst for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following**:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand urban challenges and define business requirements for smart city projects.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze existing urban systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and digital transformation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to design solutions, including IoT-enabled infrastructure, data analytics platforms, & citizen engagement tools.
• Develop use cases, user stories, & process flows to support solution design.
• Ensure solutions align with smart city goals, such as sustainability, efficiency, and inclusivity.
• Analyze data from **_urban systems _**(e.g., transportation, energy, waste management) to identify trends and insights. Use data-driven insights to propose improvements and optimize smart city operations.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support the adoption of **smart city** solutions by developing training programs and materials for end-users.
• Conduct impact assessments to understand the effects of new technologies on urban systems and communities.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the **smart city domain**.

**Requirements**

**You have**

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (master’s degree preferred) from an accredited institution in a technical discipline.
• Experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering digital transformation projects.
• Expertise in business process modelling, requirements elicitation, and data analysis.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Experience with data visualization tools.
• Knowledge of **IoT**, AI/ML, data analytics, and cloud computing.

**You might also have**

• Experience in creating Test case scripts for regression/functional testing
• Proven project management experience, preferably with PMP or similar certification

**The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.**

**The annual salary range for this role is: $120,000- 150,000 USD annual salary, 1099 (you must be comfortable working as a 1099 independent contractor, or via an LLC. This role does not include benefits).
