**athGADLANG is looking for a Senior Tax Manager for our reputable client.**

**Job Overview**:
**As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company’s tax compliance, planning, and reporting functions. You will work closely with internal teams and external advisors to develop tax strategies that optimize our tax position and minimize risk. You will also play a key role in overseeing tax audits, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international tax regulations, and providing strategic tax advice to senior management.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, local, and international tax returns to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations including corporate tax, VAT, sales tax, and other indirect taxes.
- Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and minimize liabilities.
- Manage and coordinate tax audits, responding to inquiries from tax authorities and ensuring favorable outcomes.
- Research and analyze tax issues, providing guidance on tax implications of business transactions, corporate restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, assessing their impact on the company’s operations and advising senior management accordingly.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and legal teams to ensure proper tax reporting, documentation, and internal controls.
- Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions, including deferred tax calculations and disclosures in accordance with ASC 740.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and development to build a high-performing tax department.
- Evaluate and implement tax technology and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Liaise with external tax advisors and consultants to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preferred be CA / ACCA.**:

- **8+ years of experience in tax, with a focus on corporate tax in public accounting or a large corporate environment.**:

- **In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.**:

- **Strong understanding of tax accounting principles (ASC 740) and experience with tax provision software.**:

- **Proven experience in tax planning, strategy development, and managing tax audits.**:

- **Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail.**:

- **Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.**:

- **Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals.**:

- **Proficiency in tax software and financial systems (e.g., OneSource, CorpTax, SAP, Oracle).**
