**1- PURPOSE**
- To play an active role in maintaining and growing APICORP’s client portfolio for the three business streams of the Corporation. The Senior Relationship Manager will be assisted by a Junior Relationship Manager. Both shall work closely with the Account Managers in each business streams.**2- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & FUNCTIONS**
- Understand customer needs and coordinate efforts of the three business streams to address them.
- Contribute in a proactive, efficient, and effective manner to the marketing efforts of the three business streams.
- Contribute to the development and customization of CRM software.
- Contribute to the development of and monitor financial performance metrics for each customer relation at the business stream and Corporation’s levels.
- Identify key staff in client companies to cultivate profitable relationships.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and effectively.
- Identify business leads and opportunities to the three business lines (cross selling from Corporate Banking to Investments and Treasury).
- Identify, conduct initial screening, and secure new customers that would fit within the Corporation’s strategy, marketing plans and risk appetite.
- Track and understand competitors’ offering.

**3- REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**
- Proven experience as a Client Relationship Manager in a prominent financial institution active in the energy space in the region.
- Established contacts with energy players active in the MENA region.
- Good familiarity with the entire MENA region and with the entire energy value chain would be valued.
- Satisfactory understanding of project and asset-based finance, equity investments and standard treasury products.
- Satisfactory financial analysis skills.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Aptitude for fostering positive relationships.
- Teamwork and leadership skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset.

**4 - Qualifications & Experience**

**Qualifications**:

- A master in economics, in Business Administration, in Law or in Engineering from a well-graded university.
- Solid command of Arabic and English.
- Computer literate.

**Experience**:

- A professional with satisfactory experience in relationship management role gained within a leading wholesale bank active in the region.
- Minimum 10 years of experience.

**Skills**:
**KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES**
- Identification, screening, and onboarding of new customers.
- New Business sourced for each of the three business streams.
