**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a security professional to join our Security team as Cyber Security Specialist on a permanent basis.
Core function of the role is to provide key hands-on input in supporting the security function of our infrastructure and seek to recognise areas of improvement where necessary.

**Responsibilities**:
Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline secure development and secure deployment processes.
Implement and enforce security best practices to protect data and systems.
Provide security input during all stages of a software development lifecycle.
Analyze identified threats and work with developers to resolve these issues based on a risk-based approach.
Knowledge of Secure Coding Practices that can provide guidance on secure coding practices and can work with your development team to improve the codebase.
Experience with Security Tools: Proficiency in using security testing tools such as static and dynamic code analysis tools, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing frameworks.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our infrastructure and processes.

**Requirements**:
5+ years’ experience in Security
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in providing security input in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure.
Experience in supporting development teams and providing security input.
Understanding industry security best practices with regards to software development
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
