**Position Title**: Senior Traffic HSE Engineer

**Work Location/term**: Riyadh/KSA PMC Site Office/full time

**Supervision**: n/a

**In Absence replaced by**: HSE Director

**Reports to**: HSE Director

**Responsibilities**
- Review and comment on the traffic management aspects of the key documents and deliverables issued by Project Contractors including:

- Temporary Traffic Management Plan
- Site Logistics Plan
- Security Plan
- HSE Plan, taking into consideration of site access, estimated traffic volume, movement /parking of heavy and light traffic, access roads.
- Review and comment on the relevant method statements for construction including temporary and permanent roads, parking lots.
- Review the documentation prepared by the Contractor for submission to relevant local authorities, i.e. Traffic Department.
- Review and comment on the design documents to ensure efficient traffic flow & accessibility for the designated parking lots.
- Monitor implementation of the above mentioned project specific management plans by Project Contractors.
- Provide technical support to various internal & external entities to improve traffic mobility and traffic safety.
- Monitor that Project Contractors are implementing adequate training and induction programmes in order to ensure communication of traffic management requirements.

**Competency requirements**:

- Proven experience as Traffic HSE engineer
- Knowledge and experience in international PMC contracts for projects with similar scope and complexity in general and with regards to PMC role in the Project in particular.
- Knowledge of applicable International safety legislation.
- Clear understanding of HSE management processes to be implemented throughout all phases of project development for mega projects including multitude of project stakeholders with different objectives and needs

**Minimum Requirements**

**Education**:Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering or similar field is minimum requirement; Master's degree preferred.

**Language skills**:English is mandatory

**Professional experience**:10 years of experience in comparable projects with similar Traffic HSE engineer role;
**Other skills**:

- Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal & written).
- Systematic thinker and good organizational skills/ time management.
- Conscientious, responsible and impartial/objective approach
- A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
