**Job Description**:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intelligent **Traffic Safety Specialist **to join our team, who will provide strategic leadership, integrate advanced ITS technologies, engage with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee quality control processes for high-impact transportation safety projects.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Safety Analysis and Assessment: Conduct traffic safety studies, analyze crash data, and identify high-risk areas to develop targeted safety solutions.
- Road Safety Audits: Perform safety audits for existing roadways and new designs, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Policy and Compliance: Ensure traffic projects comply with safety regulations and standards, including MUTCD, AASHTO, and FHWA guidelines.
- Collaboration with Agencies: Work closely with government agencies to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives.
- Public Safety Campaigns: Support public outreach and safety education efforts to promote safe driving behaviors and reduce crashes.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Expertise in traffic safety analysis, safety audit processes, and traffic data interpretation.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and guidelines, such as MUTCD and AASHTO.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in public outreach and stakeholder collaboration.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
**- **Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in ITS project management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
